After the Finals

What a short semester!!!
The finals have gone.
When hearing this, my friends in China just can't believe it.
As they're just preparing for their mid-term!!
However,
we don't have Chinese New Year here,
people here don't celebrate it.
They celebrate Christmas instead.
Anyway,
my housemates promised me that they'll celebrate Chinese New Year with me and Jethro.
I hope that this could make me feel less homesick.
That night, I just can meet my parents, my grandma online,
talk to each other, watch them sharing dumplings,
appreciating fireworks and firecrackers at 0:00 of February 7.
How I wish I could be with them!!
be with my sisters,
be with my brothers,
be with my uncles,
playing together on a islet on the Taihu Lake,
setting firecrackers and fireworks,
watching Spring Festival Night Show,
playing "gun battle" with boys next door.
Haha..
I miss China,
I miss my parents and relatives,
I miss my hometown,
I miss everything happened in the past.
But I'm a grown-up now,
I gotta look forward,
Always!!
I should seek for a splendid tomorrow,
I should struggle for it!!!
Always Keep Holding On!!

I've lost my basketball skills!!

Jesus!!!
I can't believe it!!
Today,
after the essay final,
I went to play basketball with my housemate Jethro and classmate Li.
I could clearly remember how well I played.
But this time,
when I was on the court ,
I didn't know what to do.
I just went like a log!!
I didn't know how to shoot,
how to avoid being blocked,
don't mention how to block others.
I haven't kept playing basketball for so long!!
I've lost the feeling.
I hope I can find it back soon.

I'm freezed!! I first exprienced the feeling of being food!!

Today,
I went to Chinatown to buy food for next week.
I forgot to bring my gloves.
So I just put my hands into my pockets.
It's okay.
After I lifed two big bags of vegetables and went out of that grocery store,
my hands felt hot, as it was hot inside the store.
However,
only 2 mins after,
terrible things happened,
I suddenly felt that my fingers were freezing at a high speed.
Then I began to run to the C-Train station.
But once I started to run,
I felt even more terrible.
After I arrived the station,
I quickly dropped things on the ground and put my hands into the pockets.
My fingers were like freezing sticks,
no feeling at all.
What's worse,
They couldn't move any more.
The train came within 5 mins,
but 5 mins was a torture for me that time.
I quickly entered the train , picked a seat ramdomly,
dropped things down,
rapidly found a place where hot air came out,
and then,
I put my two hands onto the heater.
1 mins later,
I felt a little bit that my fingers could move slightly.
2 mins later,
my fingers were all warm,
but,
I felt a terrible pain in each of my fingers.
I was very paniced that time.
I paniced abt whether my fingers were out of use forever,
I paniced abt whether I can do things like usual, or even I can't do anything any more.
I was so paniced.
But abt 10 mins later,
it was much better,
I could hardly feel pain in my fingers.
Thank goodness!!
Now I'll always remember that in winter I must wear gloves,
esp. in Canada, whose winter is cold enough to make you die!!!
It's extremely terrible, it's dangerous!!!!

Unforgetable Interview!!!!!!!

-21C° at night,
Me and John took the C-Train to Southland.
After we went out the train,
Jesus!!!!
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLDDDDDD!!!!!
I dialed the officer of the Calgary Self-Defence,
but because we're not familiar with the name of the streets,
so we were still confused about what he said to us.
We went a wrong way, a totally wrong way!!!
I felt cold enough,
and I began to run!!
We went to a Liquor Shop before,
and asked for the Blah Blah Laser Center.
A woman inside told us where it is.
We went as he said,
but we missed a cross,
meaning we were still on a wrong way.
I kept on running.
Suddenly,
a car stopped in front of me,
and came out a man from that car.
I looked at him and kept on running,
till he said to us: "Are you guys going to the Laser Center? You know that I just picked my wife up in that liquor store, she told me that two boys were going to the Laser Center. So would you like to take a ride there?"
Definitely we agreed,
and we must agree,
otherwise,
we would get freezed there,
and tomorrow morning,
there's gonna be a piece of news telling that there are two new natural sculptures appeard in Southland.
We chatted in the car,
he was a very kind man.
He told us that he played in a Band.
Wow!! That's coool, isn't it??
Not long after,
we arrived there.
We went into the center and found the Self-Defence Center.
We met the officer inside,
the main officer called Malcoln,
with whom I made an appointment.
After we asked all about our questions,
the offiicer taught us something about the defence techniques.
And let those volunteers showed some for us.
We were really grateful to them.
The interview lasted around half an hour,
we felt that it was really short.
But we did learn something from this trip!!!
Both the defending techniques and the experience of staying outside during winter times at night in Canada, and we also witness even experienced the kindness of people in Calgary!!

Pizza Party!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
There were no any classes this afternoon!!
It's so good!!!
But for me,
studying is good,
because I'm always studyng,
even when I'm playng,
I can learn something from it.
At 12:00 p.m.
pizza party began.
When we went out our classroom,
JESUS!!!
A pile of students were gathering there, waiting.
We went first,
for those service tables were near the LEAP office ,
as well as our classroom.
I got 3 pieces,
Dave gave me his biggest one because of his poor appetite,
I had an extra ticket from Camille,
then got a meat lover pizza.
I went to our own classroom to enjoy them.
Some of my classmates took pictures.

hahahahaha
Besides, today I was introduced to a new kinda drink called "Canada Dry"
which is ginger ales.
It just tasted like Sprite.
But it also tasted like a mix of 7up with garlic and ginger!!!

I'll devastate you into nothing!!!!

Rich or Not??

Today, I went to the Chinook centre.

When I went to a store called "Athletic world",

I saw two boys picking caps.

Those caps are really good,

but the price are all high.

Then I went away.

On the C-train,

I saw that two boys as well.

They were showing their new bought caps all the way.
Jesus!! They bought more than 6 caps!!

I looked at them strangely with a smirk on my face.

I was thinking that they were so crazy and naive, funny little boys!!

Then, one of them retorted with a false eye contact 'We Are Rich!!!'

meaning I am poor, they looked down upon me!

But, do you think they are rich or not?

Basically,

their money must come from their parents not themselves since they were obviously younger than me.

Moreover, they just knew how to make themselves look cool!

They don't have basic manners that they should respect everyone!!

Besides, we Chinese are not poor.

We have our own spirits, widom, qualities which they're never unable to catch up with!!

We respect everyone,

We are wise,

We are grateful to the world!!

So,

I don't hate that boy but I wanna thank him.

He made my goal one step clearer

that I come here to be rich,

to be respected by everyone,

to get high profile!!

So I have to work hard!!!

And I wanna fetch my parents here and give them better life, let them experience what is wealth, what is happiness, and what is their son!!!

I'm poor now, but I'm rich in the future!!

Why could I be sleepy?

I'm sleepy!!
When doing my homework today
I just couldn't help sleeping on the desk.
I slept as dead as a log.
I even snored!!
Jesus!!!
I've already become lazy.
That's not me.
I should always be energetic!!
I should always be dynamic!!
I should always be enthusiastic in everything!!
I don't wanna be sleepy when it's time 4 me to be cheerful!!
I don't wanna be sleepy when I'm asked to do important things!!
I don't even wanna be sleepy when I feel like sleeping!!!
All these mean that I have a weak will power!!
It's high time I found sth. to stimulate myself 2 make me awake and energetic!!!
Gimme a YONEX badminton raquet and a YONEX feather shuttlecock,
and a green YONEX badminton court and a D Lin, I wanna play with him!!

All of the above was writen when sleeping!! Not totally real!!But still something real!!!

I Miss U SO SO MUCH!!! My Beloved High School!!!

Why? Why! Why...

I feel strange.
Why do I play badminton worse and worse?
I play it almost every Friday and Saturday.
I'm always practicing it!!
The first time I played badminton here ,
I didn;t play well,
'Cause I Hadn't played it for 2 months.
After, I played well , very well again.
But recently,
I felt that I'm losing my skills.
I don't know how 2 play,
I can't smash Like Lin Dan or Taofik Hidayat.
I can't apply strategies to it, or even I've no strategies sometimes.
I hate myself being like this.
I'm supposed to play very well.
I wanna practice from my coach for several yrs until I'm quite skillful.
I miss my perfect performance in playing badminton in China!!!

Light Up Your Fire!! Activate Your Flame!!!

Today, around 11:00 pm,

I dailed my friends in China,

because I missed them so much.

When I heard those guys' voices ,

I felt really happy.

After several minutes' greeting ,

they asked about my life in Calgary.

I told 'em that I feel good here.

I really love Calgary,

it's a beautiful city.

They also asked about my classes,

I retorted that I'm very interested in this program,

'cause I can learn a lot from it,

I can have a lot of chances to chat with people in English.

But recently,

I didn't feel like doing this,

maybe because I became homesick.

I spoke Mandaring frequently these days,

and even sometimes I spoke it on class.

The fire in my heart has already died down.

However,

After my friends' relief & encouragement,

the fire in my heart goes heavier now,

the flames are dacing crazily,

I've got fueled.

I hope that it will last for a long time.

Besides,

I learnt sth. from it,

I should contact with my friends in China on a regular basis.

For one thing, my homesick issue can be solved well;

for another, I can get fueled frequently so as to keep on learning hard.

First Halloween!! HAHAHA!!

Today is my first Halloween.
I brought a mask to school,
which mask appears in a movie called 'Scary Movie'
And during the day,
our main instructor Regina gave us candies;
I took 2.
It was really dilicious,
maybe because today is Halloween,
and I'm a child today. HAHA
after class,
I took 2 candies again.
After school,
I finished my homework at once.
Then I went to play on campus.
I went to play pool with John.
After that,
Yao came out from work and offered me chicken wings..
Wow!! Smell GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!!
After I went back home,
several minutes later,
one kid around 10 yrs old and 3 beautiful teenage girls came to knock on our door,
and shouting "Trick or Treat".
I just had two candies at hand,
so I brought them out with my mask on.
I opened the door and asked:
Here are two, which one do you want?
That little boy said,'I want this one' taking one of the two,
another beautiful young girl said,' take both, I like orange one.'
but I just had two.
So the other girl retorted pityfully,' AAhh, you're kidding me!!'
haha
what an interesting halloween it was!!!

Snow!! Snow## Snow!@#$%^&
Calgary, AB, Canada, October 24, at night.
It was snowing heavily outside.
Jethro and I went out with just a shirt and a short pant.
Several mins after,
we all returned.
We then wore a thick water proof Columbia Jacket,
and went outside again.
We took photos for each other,
We also took pictures for the snow sceneries around our house.
Really beautiful!!
The wind was shouting,
and the snow flowers were dancing happily.
It' s the first time I saw the snow in Calgary,
which I'd never witness in my hometown however long I could live!!
I hope it'll keep snowing for a couple of days,
and we can play snowball fight.
lol...

Totally out of shape!!

After the 3-hour essay today,

I went to play badmiton in the afternoon with my friends

Jerry, John, Terence and Mark.

At first,

I played really well.

Everyone who played with me was under my control.

But when our men's double began,

things began to turn bad.

Jerry and I won the first 5 games,

and it was almost on me.

However, after that,

unwanted things happened on me!!

I turned lazier,

I was unwilling to catch the ball.

And even my favorite: jump smash,

I'd not enough force to accomplish it well!!

Minute by minute,

I began to play in a strange way,

no strategies,no proper steps

At last,

no energy!!!

I was too tired,

I'd worn out!!

That wasn't my real level of playing badminton,

my level is much higher than that!!!

One Month After...(My Ambition)

I've already been here for 1 months or more. But I've just explored a tiny corner of Calgary.
SO SAD!!!
I wanna explore more...

Calgary is a beautiful place,I think.

It supposed to be a beautiful city,

and I'm loving it!!!

Boys here are handsome,

Girls here are beautiful,

Almost all the guys here are warm-hearted.

No racial discrimination here,

or maybe I haven't met yet.

My tasks is to be the best student in the U of C ,

step by step,

gradually,

beat ev'ryone in this university.

Everyone looks up to me!!

Everyone consider me as a best-ever hero!!

The world needs me!!

The Solar System needs me!!
