Firstly, let me finish our instructor's mission.
as follows:
Editing other's essay is good for me.
I did this in China frequently.
By doing this,
I can find a lot of mistakes from their works,
in the meantime,
they can find ours!!
Most importantly,
those tiny mistakes that we can hardly find them out all by ourselves can be found out by others easily.
And always,
these tiny mistakes determines a successful essay...

Happy Chinese New Year !!!!
The New Year's Eve is on Feb 6.
Usually on that night,
family members MUST get together and share a gorgeous feast!!!
Watching the show on TV,
eating snacks!!

FANCY FIREWORKS, FIRECRACKERS EVERYWHERE!!!!!
We call a lot of our relatives, friends, and even colleagues, classmates, and teachers,
to say "Happy New Year" and other blessing idioms and, or phrases, poems to them...
We call it "Bai Nian"
some family will paste two sentences poems on to the frame of gates.
On the first day of Lunar New Year,
we'll visit a lot of people's house,
and give red bags that have money in it to "children of all ages" (Murray's wds).
I always get a lot,
and store them in a bank....
Besides,
on Lunar Jan 1st,
almost every children wear new clothes (except those poor, I always appropriate part of my red bag money and donate it to them)
after the New Year's Day,
ppl often go out to travel together..
Plum blossom is on during those days,
snapping photos in parks, gardens....
being together with parents and relatives and friends...
How good that make me feel!!!!
I'll never forget that feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!

My impression of EAP III

I've been in EAP III class for around two weeks.
The first impression it left on me was the assignments.
Quite a lot of those assignments I should accomplish!!
(compared to the 10 hrs homework last year in my high school, it's nothing)
However, not all of them but some are very interesting I think.
Attending lectures, Speaking Journals, Research Projects, Book projects...
They are going to improve my abilities,
as well as my English proficiency of course(so to speak)
Today is a Friday of the second week,
till now,
what've we learned?
Grammar: Easy but tricky and fussy stuff...
Writing: A little important stuff
Speaking: I've been poured with pronunciations, "th" tips, greeting words(informal, can't be used in interviews)
Reading: Reading speed test (compared to Murray's) which is interesting, and guessing word meaning skills (advanced version), and method of improving reading speed (hope it works better)
all of the above are in class.
So what about off class?
hahahahahahaha
I chat with everyone I want,
I watch television programs in English,
I listen to English music all day (so did I previously when I was in China)
I watched movies again and again to learn those words,
whatever kinda words,
even swear words (I just don't know how to use them, and don't know whether I'm allowed to use them in front of a Canadian) .
What's worse,
when I chat with my friends in China online,
I use English till they become angry.
I talk to my Mom and Dad in English,
till they force me to speak our own dialect.
And sometimes when speaking Mandarin Chinese,
I don't know how to organize words perfectly.
My friends told me before that after I'm back in China this summer,
I must teach them English,
and they'll teach me Chinese.
What the hell!!
It seems that I'm a Chinese language learner (definitely it's a joke)

BanG!!!
The worst thing is,
every day before I fall asleep in bed,
when all lights are off,
I started to think about a lot of things IN ENGLISH!!!
NO ANY OTHER LANGUAGES AT ALL!!
It'll last about 1 to 2 hours averagely,
but sometimes I may be awake for a whole night just because of this!!!
I'm mentally sick (hopefully not)!!!
SEE!!!! These are the results of EAP III's super torture!!!
Anyway, I love it instead of hating it!!

After the Finals

What a short semester!!!
The finals have gone.
When hearing this, my friends in China just can't believe it.
As they're just preparing for their mid-term!!
However,
we don't have Chinese New Year here,
people here don't celebrate it.
They celebrate Christmas instead.
Anyway,
my housemates promised me that they'll celebrate Chinese New Year with me and Jethro.
I hope that this could make me feel less homesick.
That night, I just can meet my parents, my grandma online,
talk to each other, watch them sharing dumplings,
appreciating fireworks and firecrackers at 0:00 of February 7.
How I wish I could be with them!!
be with my sisters,
be with my brothers,
be with my uncles,
playing together on a islet on the Taihu Lake,
setting firecrackers and fireworks,
watching Spring Festival Night Show,
playing "gun battle" with boys next door.
Haha..
I miss China,
I miss my parents and relatives,
I miss my hometown,
I miss everything happened in the past.
But I'm a grown-up now,
I gotta look forward,
Always!!
I should seek for a splendid tomorrow,

I've lost my basketball skills!!

Jesus!!!
I can't believe it!!
Today,
after the essay final,
I went to play basketball with my housemate Jethro and classmate Li.
I could clearly remember how well I played.
But this time,
when I was on the court ,
I didn't know what to do.
I just went like a log!!
I didn't know how to shoot,
how to avoid being blocked,
don't mention how to block others.
I haven't kept playing basketball for so long!!
I've lost the feeling.
I hope I can find it back soon.

I'm freezed!! I first exprienced the feeling of being food!!

Today,
I went to Chinatown to buy food for next week.
I forgot to bring my gloves.
So I just put my hands into my pockets.
It's okay.
After I lifed two big bags of vegetables and went out of that grocery store,
my hands felt hot, as it was hot inside the store.
However,
only 2 mins after,
terrible things happened,
I suddenly felt that my fingers were freezing at a high speed.
Then I began to run to the C-Train station.
But once I started to run,
I felt even more terrible.
After I arrived the station,
I quickly dropped things on the ground and put my hands into the pockets.
My fingers were like freezing sticks,
no feeling at all.
What's worse,
They couldn't move any more.
The train came within 5 mins,
but 5 mins was a torture for me that time.
I quickly entered the train , picked a seat ramdomly,
dropped things down,
rapidly found a place where hot air came out,
and then,
I put my two hands onto the heater.
1 mins later,
I felt a little bit that my fingers could move slightly.
2 mins later,
my fingers were all warm,
but,
I felt a terrible pain in each of my fingers.
I was very paniced that time.
I paniced abt whether my fingers were out of use forever,
I paniced abt whether I can do things like usual, or even I can't do anything any more.
I was so paniced.
But abt 10 mins later,
it was much better,
I could hardly feel pain in my fingers.
Thank goodness!!
Now I'll always remember that in winter I must wear gloves,
esp. in Canada, whose winter is cold enough to make you die!!!
It's extremely terrible, it's dangerous!!!!

Unforgetable Interview!!!!!!!

-21C° at night,
Me and John took the C-Train to Southland.
After we went out the train,
Jesus!!!!
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLDDDDDD!!!!!
I dialed the officer of the Calgary Self-Defence,
but because we're not familiar with the name of the streets,
so we were still confused about what he said to us.
We went a wrong way, a totally wrong way!!!
I felt cold enough,
and I began to run!!
We went to a Liquor Shop before,
and asked for the Blah Blah Laser Center.
A woman inside told us where it is.
We went as he said,
but we missed a cross,
meaning we were still on a wrong way.
I kept on running.
Suddenly,
a car stopped in front of me,
and came out a man from that car.
I looked at him and kept on running,
till he said to us: "Are you guys going to the Laser Center? You know that I just picked my wife up in that liquor store, she told me that two boys were going to the Laser Center. So would you like to take a ride there?"
Definitely we agreed,
and we must agree,
otherwise,
we would get freezed there,
and tomorrow morning,
there's gonna be a piece of news telling that there are two new natural sculptures appeard in Southland.
We chatted in the car,
he was a very kind man.
He told us that he played in a Band.
Wow!! That's coool, isn't it??
Not long after,
we arrived there.
We went into the center and found the Self-Defence Center.
We met the officer inside,
the main officer called Malcoln,
with whom I made an appointment.
After we asked all about our questions,
the offiicer taught us something about the defence techniques.
And let those volunteers showed some for us.
We were really grateful to them.
The interview lasted around half an hour,
we felt that it was really short.
But we did learn something from this trip!!!
Both the defending techniques and the experience of staying outside during winter times at night in Canada, and we also witness even experienced the kindness of people in Calgary!!

Pizza Party!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
There were no any classes this afternoon!!
It's so good!!!
But for me,
studying is good,
because I'm always studyng,
even when I'm playng,
I can learn something from it.
At 12:00 p.m.
pizza party began.
When we went out our classroom,
JESUS!!!
A pile of students were gathering there, waiting.
We went first,
for those service tables were near the LEAP office ,
as well as our classroom.
I got 3 pieces,
Dave gave me his biggest one because of his poor appetite,
I had an extra ticket from Camille,
then got a meat lover pizza.
I went to our own classroom to enjoy them.
Some of my classmates took pictures.
Lana, Oksana, Yun...
hahahahaha
Besides, today I was introduced to a new kinda drink called "Canada Dry"
which is ginger ales.
It just tasted like Sprite.
But it also tasted like a mix of 7up with garlic and ginger!!!
